Every year Lions from all around the globe gather for the Lions Clubs International Convention. In 2015 the 98th convention will be in Honolulu, Hawaii.
While this may seem extravagant it is worth pointing out that the event is funded from the membership subscriptions of Lions and most Lions attending do so at their own expense. Not one penny is taken out of the money raised from the public so that every penny (or cent) raised can be used for good causes.
