Where there’s a need there’s a Lion and that’s because Lions Clubs International is a community service organisation with 46,000+ clubs in communities in 210 countries. Indeed the whole structure of Lions is based around groups of like-minded individuals (Lions Clubs) serving their communities.
In all clubs this starts with the immediately surrounding area, usually a town or city. The great strength of Lions, however, is that the communities we support start local but expand to our states, nations and to the whole world. Service is always delivered through the local Lions Club, to ensure that it goes where it is most needed, but that service can be funded and provided by Lions from the other side of the globe.
Your community almost certainly has a Lions Club supporting it and they are always looking for new members and volunteers. Go to the Lions Club Locator to find the club that’s waiting for you to join them.
